Hello everyone! Today's blog post is for those who love to read or want to start reading more often. Now even though it's summer it can never be a bad idea to read, and besides we all have those boring moments when we just don't know what to do, so here we go!
The first book is called "Looking for Alaska" by John Green who in fact has a YouTube channel called vlogbrothers . The book is basically about a boy called Miles who goes to a new boarding school and meets new friends, and they begin getting closer and have adventures together, and all that fun stuff. At the end something happens to the girl and a huge twist to everything occurs and they suddenly begin finding out why it happened. (not gonna go into detail because I don't wanna ruin the book). I personally finished reading this book in one sitting, and a few of my friends read it too and loved it.

The next book I will be talking about is also by John Green and it is "An Abundance of Katherines" this book was actually recommended to me by one of my friends who read it too. It's about a boy called Colin who had 19 girlfriends and all of them were called Katherine, and they all ended up dumping him. He then needs to get into a better mood so he goes on a road trip with his friend Hassan, and they end up staying in one city for quiet a long time, and they make new friends and end up becoming friends with a girl called Lindsey. Now personally I am not a huge fan of the story in this book, like I'm the type of person who doesn't really like to engage myself into reading about relationships and all those kind of stuff, I would rather spend my time doing something better than that and learning something new. But if you feel like this is your type of book then well you are most certainly welcome to read it.
Now we have the book called "Legend" by Marie Lu. The book is part of a trilogy actually, and it's about June and Day, who are both people that sacrifieced a lot for their republic. June is in the good graces of the republic, working with the government as Princeps Elect, however Day on the other hand was assigned with a high level military position. They had been totally seperated by their placements, yet they have never expected how the circumstances would reunite them. It's an amazing book, and everyone I know that read this book absolutely loved it. It has a great plot, and theme. I recommend this book to everyone.
Last but most certainly not least is the book called "Galagolia: The Hidden Divination"by the youngest Emarati author to write an English novel, Dubai Abulhoul. The book is about a girl called Maitha, a ten year old. As she was growing up she was told that her mother died soon after her birth, and after the death of her father she finds the portal to Galagolia. There she learns that she never knew anything about her life all along, and she soon inherits the throne of Galagolia. This book is honestly extraordinary, it has such an amazing story and it is honestly unputdownable. I love it.
That was it for today's blog post, I hope you enjoyed and I hope it helped you choose your next book. Also I would like to point out that I have nothing against any of the books or authors and I don't want you to take any negative comments about any of the books as "hate", I was just stating my opinion and I hope everyone can cope with that. If you liked one of those books and have a review or have your own favorite book to share be sure to send it to me! Have a good day/night and don't forget to smile :)
