They're Real Mascara by Benefit - Review ♡

Posted by Unknown at 12:26 AM 0 comments
Hello everyone! I am alive! To start off, I know, I'm a horrible blogger when it comes to keeping posts coming, especially for the past months, and since the start of this year really. I would like to sincerely apologize for that, and I would like to thank all those who stuck around and all the readers from the many different countries that read my blog on a daily basis even when I'm not so active!

Today I'm gonna do yet another mascara review! I got this one two weeks or so ago and it wasn't till a couple of days ago when I really and completely treasured this mascara! When I first got it, I wasn't too impressed, honestly I was this close to regretting the purchase because it seemed a little mediocre for some reason. But then, after a few days of usage I really liked it! It visibly elongated my lashes, gave them volume, separated them, and gave my eyes a cute fluttery look. Also what I really like, is the brush itself doesn't over grab the product, if you know what I mean. When it comes out of the tube the consistency and amount of the mascara is just right and the application becomes a 100 times more smoother, nicer and most importantly easier.

Now what really impressed me about this mascara is it doesn't smudge at all! Being a non-waterproof mascara I expected it to smudge but it didn't, even when I went swimming at the beach the other day, and it really took me by surprise because even after swimming under water and just having an afternoon at the beach it stayed just the way it is! And that was definitely a HUGE win win for me personally! And the greatest thing is, it rubbed off right away and with no difficulty once I used makeup remover (I use the Gently Off Eye and Lip Makeup Remover by MAC)!

If you tried this mascara be sure to let me know what you think down below in the comments, or contact me through any of my social media links which you can find on my contact page! Also, be sure to tell me if you have any blog post requests and I'll be sure to work on them! It doesn't necessarily have to be beauty related, it could be topics relating to real-life situations or something you see in the world today! Have a lovely day/night, and don't forget to smile :)

Drugstore Mascara Review ♡

Posted by Unknown at 6:00 PM 4 comments
Hey everyone! I recently ran out of all my mascaras and when I decided to stop by the closest Sephora it turned out to be closed for renovation, and to my luck it was a day when I really needed a mascara (hahaha), I wasn't left with much choice as to stop by Boots and get myself a mascara from there! Now I'm not usually into drugstore makeup and I don't own many, if any really but I decided to try something out this time.

When I got there I expected to settle for Maybelline since a lot of people use it and refer to it as the "best mascara" however I consulted the woman who worked at the makeup stand and she recommended this GOSH mascara called "Crazy Volume Mascara". It definitely does give great volume and lengthens the lashes very well! It also gives the volume and length effect from the first few strokes and many coats are honestly not necessary, unless of course you want the really dramatic look!

I also feel like this mascara is a really good black color, if you know what I mean. It really stands out, and kind a in a way darkens the eye, at least that's what I felt, but in a very good way tbh! (NOT in a "dark circles" kind of way!) The brush isn't an exact specific shape, it's kind a like most regular mascaras but how I like to say "it's with a little twist of it's own", I think you should look at it in real life and up close to really judge!

Aside from all the great things I mentioned, there is a little downside that I faced. It is hard to wash off. I don't know if it's just me or it's like this for everyone, but this mascara takes forever to take off, and it usually leaves a little residue, so I always make sure to use a generous amount of makeup remover and rinse my face a couple of times!

That was all for this post! I'd love to know what's your all time favorite mascara or maybe one that you didn't like so much (and why)! For any other requests or inquiries check out my contact page! Have a lovely day/night, and don't forget to smile :)

P.S: I apologize for the pictures!

The Blogging Situation! ♡

Posted by Unknown at 4:43 PM 0 comments
Hello everyone!

To begin with I would like to sincerely apologize for suddenly totally disappearing off of my blog and not posting at all for several months! School has LITERALLY taken over life and all of my spare time has been dedicated to either resting or spending time with friends, and I never really had the proper amount of time to sit down and really work on a good blog post piece for you all! But I wanted to say that I am back. I might not post too much in the next few weeks as I will be having exams but June 11th onwards I'll be on my summer break, meaning loads and loads of posts! Be sure to recommend post ideas, and tell me more about what content you'd wanna see! Also, as a disclaimer; for the next few posts picture quality might not be as good since my camera isn't available at the moment and I'll have to be using my iPhone camera instead. Anywho, enough about my situation and sudden disappearance, I hope you're all doing good, and that you're all happy and healthy! Stay tuned for new posts coming soon! Have a great day/night, and don't forget to smile :)

Overcoming Fears ♡

Posted by Unknown at 12:13 AM 3 comments
Hey everyone! How are y'all doing? Before I get into today's post I would like to sincerely apologize for being so inactive during January. As we all know school can be very over pressuring sometimes (or probably most of the time), and so it has really taken from my blogging time. However, I'll definitely try my best to be and stay as active as possible!

Today I decided to tackle the subject of overcoming your fears. I'm sure that we all have our own fear of something in particular whether it's heights, clowns or even maybe public speaking. For me personally, I am a super shy person and public speaking has always been quite hard even though I always genuinely enjoyed it throughout elementary and middle school. As I got into highschool however I got deeper into this fear, and shyness, and tried avoiding all possible stage or public speaking related events because of being too afraid. Honestly though, I didn't know the reason to my fear and I still honestly don't. But whatever the reason might be, and what your fear is, work on it. Don't just ignore it and live with it constantly bothering you. Try your best to really face it, and if you need to, ask for help. Whether it's help from your best friend, your family, or even a therapist if required!

At first, I myself tried to avoid anything, and everything related to public speaking and stages, but one day (which was actually a few days ago) we had an event which pretty much the whole high school attended, and at the end of it everyone was free to give a commentary if they wanted to. At first I was very hesitant about going up and saying what I wanted to say but then all of a sudden the reassurance and comfort from my friends, and the sudden encouragement I felt actually made me WANT to go up and say something. I went up confidently to say what I wanted to say, but soon enough fell into a devastation after that nerve racking opportunity has been literally taken away from me since "there was no more time". At first, I fell deeper into my fear and shyness, but I took a long thought about it, and about how I felt and it made me feel so encouraged, and like I could do anything now, ANYTHING. It was such a great and huge burst of encouragement and it will definitely help me the next time I do something related to this.

Now, the reason why I shared this little experience and the reason why I wrote this post is because it's okay to be afraid of something, and it's also okay, and very important to try and overcome, and face it. It's important for yourself, and you should never degrade that fact because you are important and the things you go through are important too. I want you all to know that whatever your fear might be you can overcome it, and every baby step counts in this journey. If you don't want to talk about it with people, then read about it, write about it, vent out to paper. And remember, as long as you have the determination and a positive mindset you'll be able to overcome anything!

Thank you for reading and I really hope this has helped you! Have a great day/night and don't forget to smile :)

P.S: If you ever need anything or have questions about anything I'm here for you, and if you have any specific post you would want me to do then feel free to contact me!

December Favorites + Burj Khalifa Fireworks ♡

Posted by Unknown at 3:59 PM 0 comments
Hey everyone and Happy New Year <3 I hope you have a great one! Since it's the first day of a new month, and a new year, I decided to do a monthly favorite, and in a couple of days I might do a 2014 favorites post of the different things I liked throughout the year. Also, I would like to apologize for not posting the past few days, I wasn't feeling too well, and just needed some time off. Anyway, let's get into this post!

My first favorite for the month of December is a bag I got recently from Gucci. Most of you probably know this bag, and have seen it before. It's the Soho Metallic Leather Disco Bag which I absolutely love, and I am very happy with this purchase. This month I've been carrying this bag with almost everything, and I really love how it fits all of my essentials perfectly, also it's not too huge and it has a long strap, which is my favorites aspects in a bag, aside from color and etc.

My second favorite product for this month is my Amorino Soul Perfume which you probably saw in my previous posts, and I absolutely love this perfume. Aside from the Jo Malone perfumes I got this month this one is definitely my all time favorite. I use it everyday and it's just perfect. It's also great when it comes to mixing, and it even worked well with my Jo Malone scents. It's just lovely! (Side note: it does have a cap originally, but it fell and broke)

That was all for my December Favorites! I hope you all have a great year ahead, filled with great memories! The fireworks at The Burj Khalifa were incredible at 12am today, also if you want to create your own animated firework at The Burj Khalifa to share with friends on social media follow this link: Create Your Own Fireworks, also by following the link you can see the whole fireworks show from beginning to end! Have a great day/night, and don't forget to smile :)
